Ghost Recon Advanced War Fighter 2
Xbox 360
Review by Joseph Vanlandingham
If you’re looking for a strategic w/o bunny hopping, leaning back and forth, jumping out 2nd story window, tagging with grenades, this is the game. Single player is actually worth playing. It moved away from the plain mission, mission, mission thing that they had going to mission mixed in with a story line that’s good enough to pay attention to, well, good enough that you WANT to pay attention to.
The graphics, are awesome, and yes, even without HD. The explosions aren't like an explosion out of a 40-year-old movie. They are crisp, and believable. The technology in the game is up to date. They did their research very well in the making of this game.
Who ever picked out the music for this game, deserves a medal. The music adds to the game, and makes the climax (you perv) of the story line even better. Sound effects are nice, but the computer players’ talking leaves much to be desired. Definitely has some bad voice acting and proves to be a little repetitive.
As for the AI.... eh.. its back and forth. Some times the computer players have super x-ray/heat/cold/sonar vision, and other times, you can mistake a computer opponent for one of those cardboard life size cutouts.

Overall it’s a very good game. Really haven't messed with online game play, but I heard it was even better then single player (like always).
I give this game: A-
